I have been there 4 times and have enjoyed every aspect of my visit from selection, price, and service to the fact that one night while staying a bit late, they never made me feel uncomfortable. Thank you Veatery staff and owners!

A new jewel restaurant on upper east side. Our whole family went for the "soft" opening. So we had a chance to taste many dishes. They were all so delicious. From the shrimp dumpling (my 3year old's favorite); to the beef cubes (cooked to perfect tenderness); to the seafood soup (the subtle balance of spicy and sour); to the pad Thai (we salvaged the whole thing in five minute); and the perfectly executed spare ribs. Everything is so tasteful, it satisfy your every palate without overpowering it. My 8 year old has been begging to go back ever since. Be sure to go try, you will be hooked...
